ProFillet is a collection of some of the world's best minds who have come together to tackle one of the most pressing issues of our time: How do we Feed the Next Billion? Our founders at ProFillet come from a variety of industries and have a range of talents: from professional kitchens, science and technology, to marketing, finance and operations. This diversity of perspectives and experiences allows us to approach challenges from a variety of angles, leading to innovative solutions and better outcomes.

ProFillet aims to deliver one of the first whole cut Plant Based Seafood alternatives driven by a focus on circular economy, net-zero, minimal/clean label, and cost-effective Omega-3 provision. We also strive to demonstrate the importance of multi-company partnerships in tackling the grand challenges of food scarcity and global sustainability.

Through our unique approach we are able to utilize the power of Microalgae as well as basic kitchen applications to reach a solution. The problem: Our food system does not provide the conditions to sustainably feed a growing world population. In our current system we are not able to produce enough for future generations (insert study here) and we need to become more efficient at providing the world with alternatives to seafood. 

By 2048 our oceans will be bare, this comes from a study, so the question truly is: How Do we feed the Next Billion?
